These two limited editions from Givenchy don’t go on counter til March 2012, but already I’m excited about them. In a choice of either Peachy or Pearly, the balms have hyularonic spheres in them which in theory should give your skin a little plump up (I haven’t tried these so can’t say how effective this is) and luffa oil to knock out any dryness.

Peachy Glow: This has the same colour adaptive technology as last year’s Givenchy Rosy Glow Balm, where the shade adapts to your skin’s Ph level to give a shade that in theory should suit you. Personally, I’m pretty sure it’s all about body heat (must smear some on a radiator to test this theory!) but none-the-less, I’m all about an apricot tint as the perfect summer cheek.

Pearly Glow: This is a subtle radiance in a pot for when your skin just needs a little bit of oomph. It’s packed with light reflective pigments so you can use it on cheeks, lips or brow bone (and eyelids, come to think of it).

They’re both £20.50 each from March 2012. There’s something about the simplicity of the pot that makes them look really enticing and so easy to throw in your handbag for on the go touch ups.
