Each time these beautiful couture edition lipsticks from Givenchy come around, they get better and better. This one is heading our way in June so we have a while to go yet but well worth the wait. This year’s theme is lush and deep florals – there’s something a bit Dutch Old Masters about the decadence and darkness.

As ever, there’s also a Couture Edition Prisme Libre – I’ll have to check what colours it comes in because my sample is different from the info, but it’s not like I don’t have plenty of time.

The lipstick colour is Framboise Velours; a vivid raspberry matte shade that just glides over the lips. It will spring to life in summer.

The lipstick is £31 and the Prisme Libre is £42.

This looks gorgeous, I will keep my eyes peeled for it come June. Any idea why Givenchy makeup has such a low profile in this country Jane? I live in a large town and the only counter we had (in Debenhams) was downgraded to a stand about 18 months ago. I just find it odd.
I don’t know.. but the only reason they’d close a counter is if it’s not profitable.
I first purchased this fabulous Framboise Velour colour when you featured it about a year ago – it was a bold colour choice for me compared to my normal “lips but better” colours, but I’ve lost count of how many people have since asked me what it was – the texture is great but the colour is just perfection to make my face look more alive!
