I’m loving all the brights from Givenchy Beauty Spring 2015 – I’m so ready for these colours which is always what happens to me in winter. I start craving spring shades round about now! The theme, from Nicolas Degennes, is playfulness – bringing the fun back to make-up. Used all together, I’d say that Givenchy Beauty Spring 2015 is a bit of a challenge but taking elements from the collection is going to be fabulous. One of my favourite cashmere sweaters is grey with a flash of neon yellow and this polish, Jaune Expression, instantly reminds me of that sweater. There’s a candy pink version, too called Rose Evocation and they’re both matte textures. I’d call them a demi-matte actually, because there’s a little bit of a buffed look to the finish.

The Gelee Interdit in Orange Distraction is a whisper of colour in a jelly format – it feels much lighter on the lip than a regular gloss and by using hyaluronic in the formula, you’ll get a smoothing and hydrating action. True, and I’m wearing it right now.

There are three Color Kajal Pencils – Vert Invention, a grassy green, Turquoise Imagination, an uber-teal, and Violet Creation, a vibrant purple shade. They’re beautifully creamy and deliver a proper smack of colour.

Le Prisme Visage Color Confetti is an illuminating palette for the complexions. In the lid are tiny loose beads that move when the palette does – it makes you want to shake it!

The powder itself is multi shade so you can use across the whole face with a big fluffy kabuki or you can add nuance to cheeks. Either way, it’s a very lovely thing!
There are plenty of changes for Givenchy – new Prisme Quatuor shades and a new harmony with both matte and sheen in each palette. The texture has changed too (as has Phenomen’Eyes, becoming smudge proof – for that I’m reading water proof but I think they’re being cautious; it probably won’t see you through a day of surfing, but will do fine for every day wear) and I’ll do some swatching in a later post.

This is my only picture of the two brand new palettes – the first is Inattendue and it’s so shimmery it’s almost glossy! The second is Impertinence, which I have and will swatch a bit nearer the February launch date.
The entire Givenchy Beauty Spring 2015 launches in February.

On my! That palette with the beads in looks heavenly! I’m very jealous, this has just been written firmly in my notebook under ‘to buy in spring’! Such a lovely idea!

What a gorgeous collection! Love all the brights! And that powder is so pretty too.
I don’t like *ducks make up brushes being thrown* I honestly cannot see it being wearable and I think they’ve gone a bit too out there for Givenchy. Sorry just not feeling the “I need to buy this now” rush.
