Giorgio Armani Rouge D’Armani Sheers

These beautiful Sheers from Giorgio Armani Cosmetics are absolutely perfect for those who want a fat pop of colour on the lip but don’t like the density of lipsticks. Personally, I’m not a lipstick lover; sometimes the colour is just too staturated, and I just perfer the liquidity and lighter coverage of gloss. Plus, my lips are naturally super-crinkled and always have been so lipstick does no favours at all in that department.

These, however, are a kinda tribrid; the vividness of lipstick, the transparency of gloss and the feel on the lip of a lipbalm. The blurb says they contain Colour Shine Moisture Polymer that is able to retain twice its volume of water, enhance colour luminosity and lock in hydration. Whatever. The though formulas are absolutely beautiful, they do stay in place for a very decent amount of time and there is no dryness whatsoever. Win, win and win. Plus, the feel of the outer casing is very, very luxy – it’s got that metallic click when you put the lid on.

They’re launching in Selfridges on 1st March and nationwide in April, in 12 shades. I’ve swatched the ones I have below. Oh, and they’re £23 each.
