We really do have some treats coming from the Giorgio Armani Maestro Mediterranea collection launching in May. I’d seriously be hanging onto some summer budget for a couple of these items, well worth the wait. Kicking off with the Cheek and Sun Fabrics that you can see above, they’re both in a compact powder format. With the Cheek Fabrics, they’ve taken out all the white pigment and used pure colour (lots of blush – and foundation – uses white pigment which is why they can end up going a little chalky or grey) so what you see in the pan is exactly what you get on the cheek.
What you can see in the above swatch are Attitude Cheek Fabric, Sun Fabric, Blush Cheek Fabric and Maestro Liquid Summer (coming up in Part 2 of the Giorgio Armani Maestro Mediterranea collection post). Even though I’m not really a fan of powder blush, these are so silky and diffuse so beautifully onto the skin that I’m having a complete turn about here!
A closer look at Giorgio Armani Sun Fabric shows it to have these gorgeous pleats and better yet, I can’t detect any shimmer in it.
Of the Cheek Fabric shades I have seen, Blush is easily my favourite – a very wearable and tone warming peachy pink – again, shimmer free. There are eleven shades in the collection – look out for Eccentrico which is the most vivid raspberry colour.

I’d be prepared to put money down to bet that you won’t have experienced a skin care texture like this before...
This is a quick picture from this morning’s launch – you really are getting this hot off the action! You can see all the blush shades in the top right.
As far as pricing goes, brace yourselves. Sun Fabric is £50 and Cheek Fabrics are £34 each. Gulp. It’s a May launch for Giorgio Armani Maestro Mediterranea.
