Garnier Dark Spot Corrector Daily Illuminating Moisturizer

The puppy that’s part of the Dark Spot remover campaign. Too sweet.

The claims on this cream are really pretty impressive; 82% of women noticed a reduction in the appearance of dark spots, a brighter and more radiant complexion and softer, smoother and clearer looking skin. Now, I am not one to fall for claims, but Dark Spot Corrector does carry a high concentration of Vitamin C which undoubtedly will help to fade dark marks.

Personally, I am not a devotee of blanking the face of all marks – faces devoid of any nuance in tone are just odd, frankly. But, sun marks (or age spots) do come in degrees and if they bother you, it’s good to know that fading them out is absolutely an option these days.

Garnier Dark Spot Daily Illuminating Moisturizer is already out in the States and now here for £9.99 at stores nationwide.

Actually, I am just writing a feature for a print publication on BB creams so I’ve had to re-look at them all.. the Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector is still the best in my view, as long as you like a dewy look.

Interesting… wonder when we will get this In Ireland… and what the conversion will be…

  3. hm….I wonder if this would be any good at the dark burn brown scar (from walking into a desk lamp placed in the floor) on my leg! Might check it out, thanks for the heads up!

I’ve tried several of this type of product, from budget to high end and none of them have hit the mark yet.

Avene has D Pigment out (or coming out shortly), so along with this one, I’ll give it another go. I was given a tube of Garnier’s Vital Restore eye cream and was surprisingly pleased, so perhaps the corrector will be good too.
