Friday Treat: Crepe Uniqlo Bra Tops – Hurry!

[unpaid/purchase/affiliate] I’m very fond of Uniqlo bra tops but the last couple of years they’ve been making them cropped which is just no good to me at all! I don’t need anything extra short exposing my midriff, thank you. However, a very new drop has arrived and I’ve already bought two – the Crepe Jersey Camisole Tops with racer back straps. It’s kind of annoying that Uniqlo are using the teeniest models who’d look good in a paper bag, so I’m going to have to get my cold arms out and show you what the tops look like on a non-modelly person.

The flowy top hits just below the waist on me – as shown on the model above, a little below the top of my jeans. I usually take a size M but had to size up for this style to an L which is a perfect fit for my 34D boobs.

The other thing to note is that the colour labelled red is very much orange. If you don’t know the Uniqlo bra tops, they are as they sound – tops with a built in bra and the best of that genre. I find them perfectly supportive (not saying I’d go trampolining) and easy to put on and take off. There are lots of variants from HeatTech (extra warm – wearing now) and Airism (cooling) and still my most favourites are some I bought a few years ago with multiple strap racer backs. I wear them to yoga or just as t-shirts when the heat is on and as a bra-vest in winter.

There are four shades, red, black, navy and white (although it’s more of a cream shade), The flow and drape of the material is what makes the upgrade – you could wear these with a suit and actually, one of my first outfit ideas was under a linen jacket with jeans (of course) or loose trousers. It made me think of airports. These feel like such a bargain at £19.90 HERE. Don’t forget to upsize.
