The 7 Virtues
The 7 Virtues

I’m starting up Speed Reviews again on occaison to cover off products and discoveries that don’t necessarily need a full review. So, kicking off with The 7 Virtues (above) – I was beauty shopping (yes, I do sometimes!) in Fenwick on Bond Street and discovered these gorgeous temporary tattoos. It’s now, as I’m writing this, that I’m really hoping I didn’t shop lift this – but there were there on the 7 Virtues counter and nobody stopped me when I picked on up.

The 7 Virtues

How pretty is that?! I’ve written before on The 7 Virtues – a fragrance brand that sources ingredients from countries in conflict, such as Afghanistan, to ensure income for local farmers and producers. There are some beautiful fragrances in the range, so if you’re wandering through Fenwick, stop by their table. It truly is a brand with heart (and not just the one I stole…oops!).

L'Occitane Pivoine Sublime
L’Occitane Pivoine Sublime

I’ll cover the L’Occitane Pivoine Sublime range in full at a later date, but for now, this little balm caught my attention. It’s butter-soft with SPF25, peony extract and the lightest rose red tint for ‘me-but-better’ lips. The packaging is lovely (reminds me a bit of Fresh) and there are four shades to choose from when this range launches in April. It’s a lovely thing to look out for when the sun is shining.

Elemis Botanical Shower
Elemis Botanical Shower

Elemis does take pride in being a Brit brand so look out for this new launch in spring time. Elemis British Botanical Shower Cream contains Lavender, Chamomile, Geranium and Palmarosa as well as Echium oil for hydration. I’m not sure you can get any valuable moisture from a shower cream particularly, but the scent is fresh, green and herbal for a wake-up blast in the morning. There will also be a body moisturiser in the same fragrance.
