Since we’re all about the florals this week thanks to Chelsea Flower Show (I’m paying a visit on Thursday) I thought it’s a good time to introduce the Fitflop Keiko Skinny. I’m such a fan of Fitflop – I wear them ALLLLL the time in summer and oh, ALLLL the time in winter as well. I’ve lost count of the number of pairs I have. I like them purely for comfort – they’re the easiest things in the world to walk in and when I’m beetling around London on a boiling hot day, they’re indispensible. They also have a (slight) leg toning advantage which I could certainly say works around the backs of my legs and my calves but sadly hasn’t toned my bum one millimeter!

Fashion designer Keiko Nishiyama was born in Japan, worked in Tokyo and studied at the London College of Fashion for her MA – she’s best known for her hybrid bloom designs – for Fitflop, Keiko researched flower imagary from the National History Museum’s botany library and then added her own hyper-floral spin.  You can find Fitflop Keiko Skinny and other styles exclusively from Harrods from mid-June for £75 or sign up for early news on them HERE.
