[unpaid/sample] I love a bit of good timing – I photographed these Festive Steam Creams last week but didn’t find a space for them until today, where I discover that they are on a three for four offer so if you have any last minute stockings to fill that option is there.
Steam Cream is such an easy win – lovely, light and fresh on the skin, it gives a good dose of moisture and leaves your complexion feeling silky. It’s made in small batches in Japan using a steam emulsifying method (anyone remember Liberty having it’s own emulsifying machine so you could have your cream made on the spot?) which is what makes it so light. Actually, there is something yoghurty about it in both gloss and feel if that gives you an idea of the texture.
Ingredients are relatively few – oat milk, almond oil, jojoba oil and cocoa butter but there are essential oils just in case that’s a sensitivity for you, namely lavender, neroli, chamomile and rose. They make for a very pleasing but light fragrance.
I like these little designer tins – they’re fun and in good spirit and a good buy for £13.95 each (less if you count in the 3 for 4). You can find them HERE.
