[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] Another brand I haven’t heard from for a while – but I really do like Fenty beauty for many reasons not least in being a key leader in bringing shades for all to market from the get-go and making it seem possible for other brands who had previously been recalcitrant. Inclusivity matters and honestly, this brand does the job perfectly.

Fenty Beauty is the master of illumination – there are plenty of options for level of gleam from super-high to low and subtle. I think the Beauty Match Shimmer Stix are a good example of the mid-point – this stick in shade Confetti is a lit lilac that can be used on lids or cheeks and used at the level you like because it’s a very light feeling formula that you can build or not. If you use it on eyes, do put a primer underneath to hold it for longer but as a little glint for the cheekbones, it’s a very easy blend. There are ten shades so even if you feel lilac is not for you, there are shades for all tones. Boots has it for £17.85 instead of £21. It’s worth noting that the ‘stix’ are magnetised so they’ll all stick together if you want to keep them tidy and have more than one.

I’d say that it’s a similar, light feeling, easy blend formula for Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Blush. The shade I have here is Drama Class which is out of stock (but was fun to test – I’ve never had purple cheeks before!). If you like a cream blush take a look at Rose Latte – a pink toned neutral. They’re £16.15 instead of £19.

I think the Beauty Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer in Hot Chocolate is a secret weapon for those who want luminous lips but not a big level of pigment. It’s translucent enough to allow your natural lip shade to show through up but adds a neutral wash that brings it into shiny nude territory. There’s a little bit of gold shimmer in it as the glamorizer element and a delicious level of shine. The only thing I didn’t like is the taste which is quite strongly vanilla but if you’re open to flavour, this gloss in this shade is an understated delight. It’s £14.45 (instead of £16) and I can see it transferring seasons very easily. From the selection, it would by my top buy. You can find it HERE.
