Feather & Down Sleep Face & Body Mist Review

[unpaid/sample] If you’ve got any kind of sensitivity to essential oils, don’t spray the new Feather & Down Sleep Face & Body Mist on your face. They may have been given a light touch in hyaluronic acid but personally, I don’t think I’d take a chance. On your body – and most people are less sensitive there – knock yourself out! In fact, that’s what this product is designed to do from a sleep point of view and it may well point you towards a restful night’s sleep.

Feather & Down Sleep Face & Body Mist

I often wonder whether it’s a mind over matter thing – you think it’s going to work, therefore it does with this type of product but then, when I think about Aromatherapy Associates Deep Relax, that’s more or less anaesthetic for me! Feather & Down don’t claim to be aromatherapeutic although the mist contains lavender and chamomile which are both knock out drops for some. It also depends upon what is keeping you awake at night – insomnia isn’t going to be touched by a product like this but as a relaxation aid to allow you to drop of a bit sooner, the act itself, combined with the lavender and chamomile which we are conditioned to think are associated with sleep, it can be effective and it doesn’t really matter how the effect is being reached – nose or brain, it’s of no consequence if it does the trick.

I like the lightness of this mist – it’s got a proper ‘misty’ nozzle, unlike some so called mists that more or less drown you – just let it float down onto your body and you pj’s and off you go :-). It’s £12 but when I look on the website, I think the Sleep Face & Body Mist is replacing the Calming Sleep Mist and that’s in the sale for £8. Bearing in mind that I don’t think you should be putting this on your face in any case, you may as well take that saving. It’s HERE.
