My Clarins Multi Blush in Rose has been in use since it arrived on my doorstep a few weeks ago. This shade is part of the Clarins Spring Collection, and I can’t stop using it as you can see. I’m definitely going to get the Peach shade as well.
The merest hit of powder anywhere near my skin makes it look completely dry and any fine lines are exacerbated, so I tend – with the odd exception – to stick with creme blush. There are thousands of powder blushes but very few decent cremes and those that there are tend to disappear quickly when applied. It’s not the case with Clarins Multi Blush – I find that it lasts a good amount of time (but not forever – I generally need to top it up once or twice in the day; the only downside to creme formulas) and gives just a hint of flush to the cheeks. It’s enough colour, though, to brighten my face which is rather sallow during winter, in a natural looking way. Creme blush is, I think, a friend to older skin because it’s more supple and more dewy.

‘Rose’ is not a true pink – there is a little touch of coral in there too – and it’s going to keep me going til spring and summer when the Stila blush palette I wrote about earlier will come into play. It’s a tiny little thing – easy to chuck into your handbag and apply with finger tips (but I tend to use my Chanel brush or one of my Artis brushes to apply). Anyway, it’s still pretty new because the spring collection has only very recently launched and costs £18.50 with 5 shades to pick from HERE.

I am always on the lookout for a good creme blush. Powder blushes accentuate fine lines. So far I’ve been using Make Up For Ever HD creme blush. I want to try the new Clarins creme blush for a change. Thanks for your review.
The best cream blusher I have used is by Liz Earle, I used the whole thing which is quite unusual for me; however I am currently loving the Daniel Sandler Watercolour blush – just one drop lasts all day on me.
It was these Clarins blushes that converted me to the cream over powder blush. Im just about finished (v unusual for me!) my current one. I agree tho that it does require a bit of reapplying during the day – but refreshingly the Clarins assistant warned me about that before I purchased it and I loved her honesty. I’d defiantly buy another.
