Too Faced Bonjour Soleil

There are so many new bronzers heading our way, I’ve lost count. And, I don’t know if it’s just me but the quality seems to have leapt up – we are very far away from previous year’s bricks of orange glitter. Too Faced Bonjour Soleil packs in all the bronzing you could want really, from the cocoa powder infused Chocolate Soleil through to the lightest touch with Snow Bunny – a quad of shades that you blur together with a brush. In the middle is Sun Bunny with a shot of pink undertone – it’s an all-season bronzer buffet!

The swatch above shows first Chocolate Soleil, then the two shades of Sun Bunny and an overall swatch of Snow Bunny. I’d say that Snow Bunny is more of a shimmering highlighter, like a Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick – there isn’t a lot of actual bronzing colour going on, but the other two certainly make up for it. Too Faced Bonjour Soleil comes in a tin with a mirror so all you need to do is chuck it in your handbag – there’s a brush, too – and you’re good to go for anytime top-ups.

Too Faced call Bonjour Soleil a ‘bronzing wardrobe’ and that’s about right, I think – a great name for the kit. It’s already launched in the US but although it was supposed to launch in April here in the UK, there’s no sign. Unless the first drop has completely sold out. Keep your eyes peeled on the Debenhams website if you’re after this one.

I read the Too Faced summer collection was out here April 21 and was checking obsessively as I really wanted the eye palette – still no sign! I ended up buying it on beautybay.com, it was delivered in two days, and now I look they have this bronzing palette at nearly £5 off. (I’m not being paid by beautybay or anything. Just find it really frustrating when US brands take ages to release things here that the home market has had for months.)

I absolutely love Too Faced. The products are very underated but I have several holy grail Too Faced Items. This looks lovely!
