Eylure Brow Tint

You know when you kick yourself for not discovering something before? Well, that, with Eylure Brow Tint. I can safely say I have never tinted my brows – not even once. My brows are quite undistinguished – they’re not a weird shape and don’t need a lot of tending or grooming so I’ve just pretty much ignored them. I love the new packaging on Eylure and it’s this reintroduction to the brand that made me have a go at brow tinting for the first time in my life.

The process could not be more simple, and yet the difference is quite dramatic. You literally just mix the two sachets, apply the product for two minutes (I used a dab of Nivea around the brow area to make sure I didn’t tint my skin, applied with a cotton bud) and then you rinse it off. That’s it.

The only colour I had was dark brown and my hair is quite dark so it seemed appropriate although a little bit of me was worried I’d end up with super dark browns. I needn’t have worried – it’s the perfect shade – in fact I think I could have gone a little darker still by leaving the product on for longer. I used the mixing wand to coat the brow with product and then combed through with the brush.

It’s a one-application only product – of course, there is way too much product for two little brows so it would be helpful if they could divide the sachets into two I think. There is quite a lot of wastage, especially as Eylure Brow Tint is £9.95 (HERE). However, it looks like I’ve had my brows completely rejuvenated – I’m so happy with the definition and I wish I’d been doing this for years!

Is that £9.95 for just one application?

For years I’ve been tinting my brows at home courtesy of Eylure’s Dybrow (formerly Dylash) and I love the product as well as the convenience and the price. The multi-application version I use (which contains up to 12 applications) can be picked up for around £8 so I really hope it won’t be discontinued.

Congrats on discovering the joy of tinted eyebrows! You don’t realise what a difference it can make til you try it 🙂

I use that too and hope it sticks around.
Tinting my (naturally fairish) brows to dark brown is the best thing I ever did, it makes a HUGE difference…. in a good way!

    Hi Jane,

Do you think it will work on the odd grey eyebrow hair? I’m asking for a friend 😉

I think so.. but I can’t be sure as I don’t have any grey strays at all.. I don’t see why not.

      1. I’ll tell ‘my friend’ she should give it a go. It’s got to be better than plucking them out. Alex x

I tried there eyebrow dye kit a few months ago on my blonde brows and all that happened was that they were slightly grey! maybe if I try the new one it would work!

If you still have it, maybe try another application but leaving it on longer next time. I find that it works well on my fair brows but I have to leave it on much longer than the instructions state.

What a cool idea. I’m constantly on the lookout for ways to make my eyebrows look more defined (too much plucking as a teenager). I’ve only tried brow pencils, but this looks like a much simpler solution.
