The new Studio Line from budget brand e.l.f. is gorgeous; more expensive than their usual standard price of £1.50 for almost any item, this sleeker and more streamlined range comes in at the dizzy financial heights of £3.50. Particularly impressive is the Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder, that is an uncanny ringer for Nars The Multiple Duo (£33), and the imperfection reducing Complexion Perfection thats as silky as any more expensive brand. As a general rule, I feel with make up, you get what you pay for. Here’s the very welcome exception to that rule, where you easily get far more, and it’s made me wonder really about how expensive make up needs to be. These are available from 21st July at www.eyeslipsface.co.uk.

I’ll definitely be making some purchases from this line!
£3.50! 🙂 -
I recently won a Studio brush in one of ELF’s competitions to promote the launch, and it’s absolutely wonderful. I really can’t wait for the rest of the line!

That’s not the Multiple, is it? I thought Nars’ The Multiple was their all-over colour stick, not a compact thingy?
Anyway, I do really love ELF. Their customisable compacts are brill and their makeup brushes are really top notch.

Can’t wait to try some of this – I have a mineral booster powder from their mineral line and it outperforms Bare Minerals mineral veil, so I can’t wait to try this line too! x
