Oh, hello Estee Lauder Ultimate Make-up Kit! This is a surprise and a rather beautiful one at that. Having just waxed lyrical about the Estee Lauder Blockbuster that launched a couple of days ago, I’ve just spotted this on Selfridges.com.
I don’t have lots of information on it – but I guess what’s inside is pretty obvious. A rainbow of thirty eye shades, four blushers, two glosses, sixteen lipsticks, brushes, a mirror and all in a fold down palette – I’m in beauty heaven, basically!
The Estee Lauder Ultimate Make-up Kit is massively limited – I think it’s very good value at £50 – you will definitely need to be the early bird on this one if you want it. It’s HERE.

This makes me think of the Smashbox kits which came out at Christmas. But then Estee Lauder now own Smashbox.
I would like to see some swatches or read a review before I committed to this. Some of the Estee Lauder makeup kits have been fabulous and some a bit meh. Although they have tried to include lots of different colours, I think there are not enough of the right shade of blues and greens for me. The blues remind me of the old 80’s blues – too bright. They needed some more subtle blues and greens in there to get me interested.

Amazing value if you consider there was a very similarly priced (and similarly arranged) Avon one available recently; I think they’ve reduced the price to less than £30 now, but still.
