More recent BBB visitors probably won’t know that among my beauty collections I have a vast quantity of Estee Lauder solid fragrances. They’re highly collectable and I bought most of mine at the top of the market, when a book launched that documented many of the most famous and collectable. The market has died down now so I probably wouldn’t get back the money I paid for them but I am still delighted to have them. Mr BBB found a display cabinet in Korea of all places and brought it home to London for me to house them all in.
The Estee Lauder solid fragrances are a Christmas tradition… Harrods is the biggest stockist of them and you find them much more readily in the US than you do here in the UK. The fans are legendary in their intricate research and knowledge of the fragrances and there are entire websites dedicated to the collections.
So, this one, right in time for all things Britain with the Jubilee and the Olympics will be a collector’s dream and launches in June on line at esteelauder.co.uk and also in Harrods and selected department stores. It’s filled with the Beautiful fragrance and costs £320. It is hand-crafted and embedded with 130 Swarovski Elements crystals.
