Estee Lauder Pure Color Vivid Shine Lipstick Luminizer

So, I have the chance to swatch all four of the limited edition Lipstick Luminizers from Estee Lauder. Bottom line is that they have the ability to change the shade of your existing lipsticks and give them a shimmery nuance they might not otherwise have. So, for example, if I’d got a stack of matte lipsticks that I’d gone off, I’d be right on it, glossing them up and experimenting with shades with a Luminzer.

I’ve tried each one over Electric Mauve (above) and you can clearly see the difference it makes. I’m going to apologise now.. the worst light conditions in my kitchen – sun but the wind blowing the tree in all sorts of directions so there’s shadow everywhere and it’s moving all the time!

Electric Mauve alone.
Electric Mauve transformed with (from bottom) Lame Luminizer, Pearlescent Luminzer, Gunmetal Luminizer and Foil Luminizer

They’re £19.50 each at www.esteelauder.co.uk, HERE

  1. Those are gorgeous!! I especially like the darker one. I. Must. Have. Them. All.

  2. Is it just me or has Estee Lauder become an exciting brand again? The last few collections have had numerous items that I loved and had to get. I remember when I relegated it to my mom’s foundation brand.

  3. i love that darkest one

It’s a good way to bring old lipstick alive!

That white pearl is so old school (1960’s)! What started out as a plain white lipstick in the early 60’s quickly morphed into a white pearl which not only lightened lipstick but also gave it a frosty look. I’m sure these new iterations by EL are more a million times more refined and sophisticated–at least I hope so! LOL

  6. Love the look of the gunmetal one..

  7. Love the look of that gunmetal one!

These look like fun, I really like the look of them and would like to play with them very much. I’m usually a fan of matte lips but I think these sparkles could change my mind.

too shimmery for me, my mum would like though! I know EL smell gorgeous!
