Estee Lauder Pure Color High Gloss

These new glosses from Estee Lauder are beautiful; it’s a new formula that promises extra hydration and actually does live up to the hydrating claim. I’d say the texture is very like Bobbi Brown in that it is quite sticky but a good stayer, and it is deliciously shiny. I’ve only got a couple of colours here and one clear but there is a line up of seven shades which I’ll post when I have a picture.

The shade that I love is Bare Glow (above); a caramel nude that is just warm enough not to drain the face but still has all the pared back grace of a true nude gloss. It’s lovely and has gone straight into my *keep* box. The Estee Lauder Pure Color High Glosses launch in July.

  1. I always tend to just buy a cheap clear gloss because i go through them on shoots so much but i really wanna try a higher end clear gloss just to see how much it changes the look 😀 xx

I got the testers of these in on my counter yesterday, they are thick and a bit sticky but I absolutely love them! Especially the Pink Cloud shade x

I have the previous edition of High Gloss in Blush which is a MLBB type shade and is moisturising and a good gloss. But I rarely use it because it doesn’t have a brush or doe foot applicator and I don’t want to lug a lip brush around. For £16 I want a bit of luxary. Lauder ought to include a brush or even a velor tip like on the end of Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector. I have the same grumble about Clarins colour Quench Lip Balm.
