You can’t knock Estee Lauder right now for being totally on it in terms of innovation and creativity. What I love about this collection, in partnership with AMC Mad Men®, is that Lauder dived into their archives and based the design on Lauder packaging from the 1960s. It launches in March at the same time as the new Mad Men Series 6.
So, a few details. The collection comprises three limited edition products. Estee Lauder Mad Men Collection See Thru Blush in Light Show, Rich Lipstick in Pinkadelic and Nail Lacquer in Pink Paisley. The detail is beautiful, right down to the Rich Lipstick housed in fluted gold (a direct replica from their 1960’s archives), and the shape of the Nail Lacquer, also from an original EL 1960 design.
Availability will be from Harvey Nichols, Harrods, Selfridges, Brown Thomas and Esteelauder.co.uk and prices are: See Thru Blush, £48, Rich Lipstick, £26 and Nail Lacquer, £20.
Are you Mad for it?

I love Lauder, so I’ll certainly check it out. Who knew that old Lauder lacquer bottles were basically Revlon shaped?
I would love if these companies would delve into their archives more often – Revlon, Lauder, Arden – I’m looking at you, ladies!
This is just GORGEOUS! Love the lipstick in particular. So classy.
I ADORE Estée Lauder, never really got into Mad Men, but oh, this is one beautiful looking collection. It makes me want to buy it all just to display on a dressing table, along with perfume in a crystal bottle with an atomiser and all that retro goodness. The lipstick doesn’t look like it would suit my lip colour at all, for one thing. I’m just a magpie for packaging like this.
Love the packaging! Would buy the whole lot if it wasn’t so pricey!
