I was at the Estee Lauder press day today to preview their Christmas ranges – they need to do it so far ahead for the magazines that work on a long lead times; some publications already at planning stages for January. So for those who think mentioning Christmas in August is far too early, that’s just the way it works. So, I saw some amazing things – of note, Bobbi Brown red lipglosses to die for, Darphin silver boxed sets (no wrapping required!, Clinique’s circular palettes that are so pretty and wearable, and the above Pure Color Extravagant by Tom Pecheux. The Five Colour Lip Palette in red is Extravagant, £34, and the Five Color Eyeshadow Palette is Extravagent Gold, £34. And, I’m loving the two nail polishes from this limited edition range; Extravagant Pearl and Extravagant Night – each £12.

But, because I’m a bit of a collector of Estee Lauder Solid Perfumes, those were what caught my eye like a magpie! Those, and the Coach collaboration – some gorgeous make up sets in stylish Coach make up bags which I’ll post as soon as I can lay my hands on images.

So, I’m showing my top picks from the solid fragrances and powder compacts coming to Harrods in around October time.
