The Essie Neon Too Taboo Collection is, I think, what you might call ‘safe’ neons. So, they’re not the ultra glaring shades of true neon, but they definitely have the uplift of neon. I really like them a lot!

The two I have here are Sittin Pretty and Too Taboo – I think I prefer the lit lavender tones of Sittin Pretty.

Apologies.. my iPhone camera hates nail wheel swatches.. but I found both these shades to err on demi-matte rather than glossy (although you can super-gloss them up with a top coat). There are six shades of polish, although if you are looking around on the internet, different markets are getting different shades (there is an acid yellow shade that we won’t get here in the UK for example). The best swatches I’ve come across for the Essie Neon Too Taboo Collection are over at The Polishaholic HERE .
The Essie Neon Too Taboo Collection launches this month for £7.99 each.

These are lovely! Hopefully safe enough to wear to work without being judged too much 😉

The Pink is a pretty colour. I do like bright shades but tend to wear them on my toes & think the pink would look great for holiday.

This has got me excited for essie again. Saw these a while ago in the nail salon I go to and I got the bright green “vices versa” as a manicure. So glad they’re going into boots and superdrug though because the brush is much better on the diffusion line polishes. Can’t wait!
I love tones like these. Neon but not too out there 🙂
