Bearing in mind that when Kate has her baby, this country will be baby MAD, I think this is quite foresighted of Essie to pop out a duo for mums-to-be. On the one hand, I’m thinking the last thing I’d want after a baby is some nail varnish, but on the other, it’s something different from the usual. When I had my children I was given bath treats.. and yet, there was rarely a moment to have that long, luxurious bath – the same is probably true for nail polishes but I think I’d add in a bottle of Seche Vite to speed things up. What do you think – yay or nay?
The polishes are full-size and you get both for £12.99 from June. The shades are Lapiz of Luxury (blue) and Muchi Muchi.

Cute idea, but nothing special in my opinion.
Love Essie polishes, these colours are adorable!

Cute in concept (as a mum to be, I think you do get sick of stretch mark cream gifts!) – though I think there are prettier pinks especially out there. I’d avoid giving SV in particular though as it’s got so much formaldehyde in it, but another big 3 free quick drying topcoat would be very handy indeed I’m sure! (I have loved the No7 one during my pg).
I love the idea! When my daughter was born, a good friend gave me a Chanel l/s and n/p duo. It was nice to get something for me and yes, that Summer I always had a nice pedi! 🙂
