This is another premium foundation find that I am absolutely loving. If you ever used the Giorgio Armani Maestro Fusion Make-up, it is pretty similar to that in feel on the skin (i.e. it feels super-silky) and yet the formulation is much thicker and gives more coverage. It’s water-free and contains Salicylic acid and Vitamins A, C, and E so good for blemish prone skin.

Beige is bang on for my skin tone and I think I used it a little too nervously to start with – I had to reapply another coating straight afterwards to get the finish I wanted. The mousse is deceptive because it actually goes on very lightly, allowing for buildability. I loved it and found it really lasted the day (although I did also use UD All Nighter which tends to make everything last longer).

I haven’t fully blended in the swatch above because I wanted you to be able to see it properly (my arm is looking a bit odd because I’ve been wearing a sweater all day and it seems to have imprinted the texture on my arm!). The foundation is SPF15.
Nothing at Laszlo comes cheap – this is £55. But I would. I really would.

Hello, first of all, I always enjoy reading your blog! But I have a suggestion, maybe next time you receive a product/pr sample that comes with a box (such as above), you could take a picture of the ingredient list on the box and post it. I think that a lot of women, myself included, have become much more ingredients-savy and we want to know what’s in the product, all the ingredients (not just the ones advertised as ‘key ingredients’), before we commit to buying anything. It would be very helpful information, also for those who have sensitive skins/want to avoid certain chemicals. I hope you will consider the idea! 🙂
I will try and remember!! But I try to limit the number of pics I use otherwise posts get very long. But on that particular product the list is as follows: Active Ingredients: Octinoxate 7.5%, Titanium Dioxide 2.0% Other Ingredients: Cyclopentasiloxane, Tribehenin, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Cyclohexasiloxane, Octyldodecyl Neopentanoate, Dromiceius Oil (Emu Oil), Dimethicone, Tocopheryl Acetate, Retinyl Palmitate, Ascorbic Acid, Salicylic Acid, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Hexylene Glycol, Mica, Titanium Dioxide (Ci 77891), Iron Oxides (Ci 77491, 77492, 77499)
Thanks!
This is hands down my favourite foundation; the coverage is amazing and it’s really great for spot-prone skin. I think it also gives skin an almost porcelain like appearance; totally worth every penny and it lasts for ages xx
Oh I’m loving the sound of this… have never tried Erno Laszlo and not sure if it’s sold on counter in N.Ireland but will look out for it!

oh sounds fab. i need spot-proof foundation! Jane, i am loving your daily emails. Just thought I’d say it again, in case you didn’t hear me the first ten times.
strawberry blonde, it’s not on counter in N. Ireland – only Harrod’s – but I think you can order products from the website http://www.ernolaszlo,com. If you order from the US site, it might even be cheaper! My absolute favorite is the Phelityl cleansing bar – it will change your life!!
