Well, I’m not sure about the baby skin aspect of this but Erborian BB Flash Essence certainly does something! Erborian BB cream is for BB purists; it originates from Korea and is true to the nature of original BB’s in that it has sun protection and skin care ingredients as well as light coverage.
The Erborian BB Flash Essence is more of a firming essence than anything – its got a pearlised finish and feels like a serum in texture. I found that when I tested it, my skin felt tauter more or less straight away and the pearl finish does give skin a light bounce boost.
I’m not sure I’d waste this serum under make-up – it’s for those really good skin days when your complexion doesn’t really need anything in terms of texture and coverage, but just looks even better for the reflection and firming effects. When I tried it with the Erborian BB over the top, there was a tiny bit of rolling effect which convinces me that it really is a natural skin boost rather than a primer.
I’m not sure it’s common knowledge that Erborian is owned by the L’Occitane group – but that just persuades me even more that it’s got all the right credentials – but I think it’s for those who are already blessed with good skin so the rest of us can be even more envious!

I’d be prepared to put money down to bet that you won’t have experienced a skin care texture like this before...
We’re going to be seeing a lot more of Erborian in the coming months – I like it for its interesting products such as Dongbaek Camellia Essence and while Erborian has been a BB fan secret for a while, I can see it is heading more mainstream for the UK market. Erborian BB Flash is £54 HERE.
