Emma Hardie Brilliance Face Oil

Emma Hardie Brilliance Face Oil

I feel really lucky at the moment to be seeing so many high quality skin care products. Things seem to go in peaks and troughs, so you see a lot of rubbish for a while and then when the good stuff comes it’s so welcome! The first time I met Emma Hardie was to see her, then new, Moringa Cleansing Balm, which I’d still put up there as one of the standard setters for all cleansing balms that came after. I think you can tell from the products that come from hands that know and understand skin, rather than relying on an ingredient list to do the job.

So, as you’d expect, the Emma Hardie Brilliance Face Oil is right up there as an oil that knows your skin straight away. Oh, and the smell of it! Palma Rose, Orange, Mint, Vanilla, Geranium, Camomile, Lemon, Rose and Lavender all add up to making you feel like you’ve just stepped out of a spa.

However, it’s down to the Omega 3 rich plant oils to give skin a rush of hydration – Grape Seed oil, apricot, almond, olive oil and sunflower oil left my skin feeling supple and velvet soft. Emma Hardie Brilliance Face Oil also contains Camelina oil (high in fatty acids) to protect againt anti-oxidants. On the subject of anti-oxidants, I find it hard, and always have, to get my head around free radicals and anti-oxidants. I understand free radicals as pollution you can’t see, and anti-oxidants as a protector against said pollutants, but I can’t really conjour up anything visually for them. Which makes me suspicious that they’re like unicorns… ;-).

Anyway, once again, this is a product that I’d recommend without hesitation if your in the market for a new facial oil. I’d say it’s better for more mature skin. It’s £31 HERE.

I was given the cleansing balm as a gift and it’s simply beautiful, don’t think I’ll try anything else.

  2. How does this compare to the Sarah Chapman Skinesis Overnight Facial?

I always feel with Skinesis that you get a bit of exfoliating action.. with this one you don’t, but it’s an amazing hydration boost.
