Elizabeth Arden Tropical Escape 2017

I think the FourEver (see what they did there.. ;-0) Bronze Bronzing Powder is one of the better ones I’ve seen so far for this summer. The shade I have here is one of two (it’s the deeper toned of the two) and has a little bit of everything – highlight, blush and contour. With the exception of the highlighter, it’s matte. The formula has a dash of hyaluronic which is every woman’s best friend ingredient which accounts, I think, for its comfort, not-t00-powdery feel.

It’s the Sheer Kiss Lip Oil, though that has my beauty heart skipping a beat – I have never, ever seen packaging like that before for a lip product. It has a squeezy middle to deliver the oil to the lips. The oil itself is beautiful – it’s got a bit more colour to it than most lip oils that I’ve seen so far, and obviously a very glossy finish. As a blend of coconut, avocado, tsubaki and meadowfoam oils, it feels like it’s doing a proper lip nourishing job as well as colouring.

These are the four shades in the Bronzing palette starting from the highlight and working round clockwise, followed by the lip oil in shade Heavenly Rose. The Dare To Bare Shimmer Body Oil is a limited edition – a beautiful, shimmer filled oil but I think it’s a bit much for me, personally. A bit like too much tinsel on the Christmas Tree.

Price-wise, the Lip Oil is £18 (HERE) and would be my top pick from the Elizabeth Arden Tropical Escape 2017 collection, the Bronzer is £29 (HERE) and the oil is £25 (HERE). It’s all at John Lewis and selected department stores.
