If there’s one star thing that Elizabeth Arden do really well, it’s a sparkly gloss. Somehow they always manage to shove in maximum shimmer, so if you love that twinkly lip look, I can’t recommend the Golden Opulence Beautiful Color Luminious Gloss more – this shade, an orange/peach colour, is part of the Elizabeth Arden Christmas 2015 make up collection, Golden Opulence. The shimmers, as you might expect, are golden.

I always think Elizabeth Arden gets overlooked for its glosses – they’re a gorgeous consistency and feel quite sheer on the lip. This one is £18.

I also like the Colour Highlighter in Gold Illumination (don’t worry, you won’t look toooooo gold!) because it’s a three toned highlighter – champagne, gold and bronze – that’s going to suit all warm tones. It’s best described as a soft glow although I’m personally over using illuminators over the whole face; better to buff well over the cheekbones for a light-catchy hit than to have a waft of something or nothing over the whole face. I’d actually use this on my eyes I think – they’re all tones that are very wearable. It’s £29 and the packaging is really solid – and rather beautiful. I forgot to mention that Elizabeth Arden glosses come with a mirror on the side for easy touch ups. The Christmas collection is HERE.

If you can hold out til December 1st, there’s a rather lovely Swarovski crystal version of Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour for lips on its way – I know that this product has many, many fans so it’s a nice upscale of an existing product that turns it into something special for fans of the product.
Elizabeth Arden also has a beauty blockbuster set (not dissimilar to the Estee Lauder version) available for £52 with selected Elizabeth Arden purchases; quite a bargain for £300 worth of products. I love these for their wow factor – it’s quite something for a beauty lover to open on Christmas day! It’s HERE if you want to take a look at the full contents.
