So, Elizabeth Arden has had a face lift! The brand has completely revamped its make-up products and far from the apologetic offerings of the past, it’s absolutely beautiful. Not only is each casing stamped with the iconic Red Door, but all the eye-shadows are, too.
The new Beautiful Color Eye Shadow singles and duos are pigment packed, super soft and contain very decent skin care benefits. If you think about it, there is nothing much for the upper eye area.. all skin care seems to concentrate on below the eye, around the eye but nothing for the lid to brow area.
The addition of Retinyl Linoleate helps to minimize the look of fine lines and boost collagen, Vitamins C and E neturalise free radicals and while you probably won’t knock off any years rocking a metallic smoky eye, you will at least be giving protection to that part of the skin. With a line-up of twenty new shades sectioned into Creams, Bronzes and Browns, Pinks and Reds, Greys and Blacks, Blues and Greens and Purples, there will be a shade for everyone.
Duos are £20 and Singles are £16 and the Beautiful Color Collection launches in September. There will be plenty of new roll-outs over the coming months so I’ll keep you posted. Meanwhile, an image from the launch event.

These look great. I don’t own any Elizabeth Arden but these look rather tempting…

Now, that’s a compelling reason to take a second look at the line. Brava!
Walked past the Elizabeth Arden counter in my local House of Fraser on Friday and wondered what was going on as it looked very barren, this explains it. Hope the new offering is a bit younger, the last offering looked like it was aimed at grandma.
Oooh, these look very promising! I especially love that first eye duo, it’s really my thing! I’m curious how they will perform!
The shades look beautiful and the concept behind them is so innovative! I can’t wait to try out a duo 🙂
Great post!
