I’m very fond of the Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Tint shades – they give enough colour to nuance the lip and this particular shade, Plum, is like a watercolour version of Rouge Noir. If you’re like me and rather afraid of a vampy lip, it’s really a perfect alternative to give a nod at the vampy mood without any of the shouty pigment.
Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour TintObviously, the bonus is an SPF of 15 to shield winter lips and all of the 8 Hour protection to keep them soft and supple. There are very few lip balms I can actually use and lipsticks often dry out my lips so it’s very nice to have something I know I’m safe to use that’s a little bit more glam than my usual balms. I have had this product before – and lost it, so it’s a truly welcome return. You can find Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Tint for £20 (free delivery) HERE. If you’re thinking of it as a gift, I’d combine this with a beautiful winter scarf or beanie. Wintery walks, sorted!

Lovely colour! Does it have the same fragance as the 8 Hour original balm?
Such a beautiful Colour which would be prefect for Winter! 🙂 x.

Tempting!
Just to say that Skinfood has an adorable Snoopy range at the moment, including what looks to be a dupe for the Clarins lip oil (and comes in the honey and raspberry colours too!). http://cosmetic-love.com/products/skin-food-propolis-nourishing-lip-oil-snoopy-limited-edition-2-5g?variant=11888615556
Love these balms and that’s a gorgeous colour – but even better is that knitted Christmas tree. So cool!
I love 8 hours products, i am excited to try this one as well!
