[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I am getting both Laura Mercier AND Courreges vibes from this collection between e.l.f. and Jen Atkin, founder of Ouai Hair Care and hair stylist to a myriad of celebrities. When Ouai launched, I met her at a dinner and she is absolutely lovely – grounded and fun without a star-struck bone in her body.

I think you’ll know straight away why I’m getting Laura Mercier from this – the earthy tones, the peachy blush and the subtle golden highlight. It’s just a very wearable, easy to navigate palette that’s true to Jen Atkin’s aesthetic which is minimal and light handed. There’s a Light Medium option (shown) and a Medium Deep version. Very nice at £14 HERE.

And here’s where I’m finding Courreges – blocky, white and glossy.  There’s a Brow & Hair Pomade (£8) for brow taming or putting random frizzies back in place (of course, because Jen’s a hair person at heart), a Cream To Powder Zero Effort Pencil (£5) in brown and black and a double-ended brush for smudging the liner and combing the brow. This comes as a set that’s not yet on-line but you can find everything individually.

You can buy the XXstra Lip Kit as a trio or in singles – this is the trio with Red-y to Go, Se.l.f. Made Pink, Bring it on Brown that covers all options. They’ve got a liner at the other end so if you like a precision lip, you’re all set. The red shade is really very vibrant – more, to my eye, an orange, geranium red than a blue red. They’re a matte finish (not my favourite finish), densely pigmented and creamy on the lip. The singles are £8 each and the trio is £20 HERE.
