[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I’m honestly blown away by this year’s Elemis Advent Calendar. It’s a feast of skin care – months worth – with a value of £400 set in three very re-usable tins (cakes! mince pies! buttons!). What I find very sweet is that on their website they explain how to use it – “simply find the door that matches each day, then open to reveal a beautiful surprise”.

The design is just so pretty – and everything about it is designed for recycling or re-using. Even the cardboard that holds the products is sustainably sourced. Three layers ensures that it’s not a calendar full of tiny sizes – there are a couple of 100mls and several 50mls in there as well as a few of my die-hard favourites from Elemis.

I think you can guess where the 100mls are! My personal favourites are the Monoi Body Lotion and the Papaya Enzyme Peel (peeling beautifully well before the trend) and a Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm never goes amiss.

I never reveal full contents because I think if you are buying for yourself there needs to be an element of surprise – the full contents are on the website anyway if you need to know but roughly speaking the contents are divided between Pro-Collagen and Superfood.

So, as you might expect, it’s expensive – it’s absolutely not my job to sell it to you but it’s a good idea to do a calculation to see if you’d end up spending more than £175 on skin care (face and body) over the next few months and if the answer is yes, and you’re either already an Elemis fan or open to being one, it’s good value for money because so many categories are covered off. Serum, cleanser, moisturiser, masks, eye cream, body cream, bath and shower and so on. Personally, I’d give this house room any day of the week. You can find the Elemis Advent Calendar 2021 HERE.
