Duty Free Beauty

..or I should say ‘Travel Retail Exclusives’ but I can’t imagine anyone will Google that! There are some absolute beauties to discover on your travels. Before I worked in beauty pretty much integral to a good holiday was choosing a duty free palette at the airport to take with you. So enjoy the line-up – they’re a palette lover’s dream!

Benefit Passport to Posh

First up, Benefit’s pink and perky Passport to Posh. It’s all about the eyes with a Bad Gal Lash mini, three powder eyeshadows, Creaseless Cream Shadow, Bo-ing, Eye Bright and two brushes. All for £21.25.

Clinique All-in-one Colour Palette

Clinique’s All In One Palette contains High Impact Mascara, five long last lipstick shades, four Color Surge Eye Shadows, Superpowder Double Face Powder, and applicators. It’s £33.90.

YSL Extremely YSL For Eyes

So far, so my favourite! This eye kit from YSL is amazing in a bright blue patent purse (it’s Majorelle Blue, if you need to know!). Inside there are ten, yes ten, eye shadows.

There are a couple of little brushes and there’s a little zipped pocket to keep something special inside. I absolutely adore this – it would go straight into my ‘never ever use this but keep it forever’ pile! Its £51.50. You can actually remove the shadow palette and have it as a purse. I so am going to.

Lancome Travel Chic Platine Edition

Finally, for today, is the beautiful Lancome Travel Chic Platine Edition in a silver casing (you can just see the silver detail at the bottom left of the picture). Inside there are two lip colours, a blush, a face powder, a mini Hypnose mascara and six powder eye shadows. It’s £41.85.

All these palettes can be found at World Duty Free destinations so don’t cash up all your pounds for Euros without keeping some back for beauty!

Would like to buy YSL but hope to do it in Europe as Russian Duty Free is awful.

Ahh I am so obsessed with duty free makeup that I always try to get to the airport early just to shop the palettes! 🙂 I have the blue YSL one, most of the shades are very sparkly so I haven’t used it much so far but it’s so pretty to look at.

  5. I love the look of the ysl pallete, i would definitely have to use the purse too 🙂

  6. There is a Clarins palette with eyeshadows, powder, blush, lip gloss and mascara that is amazing. Check it out the next time you find yourself in an airport.

I’d go with the Clinique kit. I rarely use eye shadow, so its a wasted product for me. But lots of lip colours, a mascara and a face powder? Perfect!
