I’m honestly trying to steer clear of too much festivity too early, but just about everything that’s coming through is geared towards that time. The Durance Spiced Biscuit Candle, clearly, from its snowflake pattern, is just such a thing. But, it’s not really that full-on blast of ‘mulled wine and pine trees’. Spiced Biscuit is more of a homely smell – it just smells of the very thing that you want when you come home from a horrible, wet, crowded Saturday shopping afternoon; it’s all dark and miserable outside and you’re so pleased to be home.
That’s my long winded version of describing it as a true comfort scent. The Durance Spiced Biscuit Candle (£14.95) is sweet, spicy and home-baking-y (I know, I’m making up words, here) but it hasn’t veered off into that saccharine sweetness.
My one piece of advice is to always have some biscuits in if you’re planning on burning this. You’ll thank me for that piece of advice when the aroma starts to curl around your nostrils and you get the munchies ;-).
The more I get to know this brand, the more I like it, so it’s well worth looking out for. It’s HERE.

It’s nice to see a candle that gets good reviews but still falls into the affordable spectrum. I’m more than happy to spend £15 on something that’s gonna make my house smell nice – £50 not so much.
This candle sounds lovely and it’s not hideously expensive either!!

It sounds lush, I love a spicey biscuit scent around this time 🙂

Sounds like it smells lovely. Not sure I would have it in the bathroom though, I may get hungry whilst lying in the bath! 🙂
