Dr PawPaw Hydrating Face Mist Review

[unpaid/sample] The worst thing that happened to facial mists was global warming. Now they’ve mostly all switched to non-aerosol to be more planet friendly, it’s very hard to get the fine mist that our faces would probably like better than the drenching we actually get. So, with that in mind, and also the further away you hold it the finer the mist will be, lets get to how the Dr PawPaw Hydrating Face Mist fares under scrutiny.

It’s often been my experience that face mists do little more than wet your face prettily, with little more than a whisper of rose perfume. I’d say that Dr PawPaw has slightly elevated that experience – it’s more refreshing if you keep it in the fridge – by providing at least a bit of moisturizing ‘slip’ to the face from the addition of glycerin. The neroli fragrance is very mild. It contains niacinamide which probably won’t help if you’re using this on occasion (i.e. now when the weather is melting us) but if you wanted to commit to longer term use, anything is possible. I definitely admire their marketing team because surely it was them who coined ‘papayaluronic’ – another key ingredient and a mix of papaya (the fruit the brand is famous for) and hyaluronic acid. Very good, 10/10.

I’d be very happy reaching for this straight out of the fridge for a refreshing spritz across my chest and neck to bring my sweltering body back to some form of equilibrium but equally happy to shove my head in a bucket of ice. It depends upon your preference for cooling and hydrating. It’s currently on offer for £10 instead of £15 HERE.
