Dolce & Gabbana Creamy Foundations & Passion Duo Lipsticks

Starting with the Passion Duo Lipsticks. These really are quite beautiful. The reason for the gloss-filled central core? To give a lipstick with glossy qualities – and it works. The lipsticks are super-creamy on the lip and give a very shiny lipstick finish and have that perfumed smell that I always associate with ‘expensive’ lipsticks. Separated into four shade categories, Nudes to Browns, Reds To Orange, Pinks to Mauves and True Passion, there really is a good selection for all tones. They launch on 1st September and are £24 each.

This is Sensation; a creamy peach/pink that is quite pale on the lip and would suit lighter skin tones perfectly.

The new Creamy Foundations are really quite something. Packaged in a square glass jar with a gold lid, they look like a luxurious face cream on first appearance. The price is £34 – and I know that is high for foundation, but I expected them to cost more to be honest. The 15 shade collection gives a medium-weight coverage – it is gorgeously creamy and therefore incredibly easy to manoevre around the skin for flawless cover.

On the above swatch, I haven’t fully blended in so you can see the texture and colours better. They did all blend seamlessly. The formula isn’t completely fragrance free but it is a very light scent. Again, this will launch on September 1st.

The lipsticks look stunning! Gotta love a lipstick with the added bonus of moisture.

Gorgeous imagery! I really like D&G lipsticks so will be interested to check these out. So far, it’s the only brand that’s been able to sway me from Chanel lipsticks.

They look the same design as the Estee Lauder Senuous Rouge lipsticks. Does Estee Lauder own D&G? Much prefer the new Lauder offering to Chanel Rouge Coco Shine, it’s less drying.

I’m a big fan of Pat but foundation in a jar… What’s the shelve life and better yet what about hygiene??

Dying to try the foundation! Do you happen to know of any other swatches? Or care to make any comparisons to other foundation brands’ shades? I’m trying to triangulate my correct shade so I can order online. 🙂
    TIA
