DKNY Delicious Delights

DKNY Delicious Delights

The launch for DKNY Delicious Delights was held in a Frozen Yogurt store (mid-winter!) but that couldn’t sum up the fragrances any better, really. A mix of sweet freshness, DKNY Delicious Delights are all about a spritz of sugar.

DKNY Delicious Delights

First up is Dreamsicle – the peach lidded fragrance. It’s definitely ALL fruit in here – raspberry, mandarin and blackcurrant (with apple, of course). The blackcurrant note is the one that stands out for me – and that does give it a bit of a Ribena note (sorry DKNY!). However, if you love ‘sweetshop’ fruit scents, this one is for you.

Next is Fruity Rooty with the pink lid. This isn’t as fresh as Dreamsicle; it’s got a lot of vanilla in the base and musk, which really do come through to overpower the blackberry and mandarin notes. So, it’s not as fruity as the name suggests – if you want fruit, it’s Dreamsicle.

Finally, Cool Swirl. This one is tropical – coconut water, violet leaves and that blackcurrant again! I should, by the note listing, like this one the best, but actually I like it the least. It’s got a weird back note that I think is patchouli but it smells a bit bitter.

I’d go Dreamsicle all the way out of the three – if you’re chasing a gourmet, sorbet like scent, that’s icy and icing all at once, that’s the one!

DKNY Delicious Delights launch in March for £37 each.

  1. Katie

Will be checking these out, my scent is the original DKNY green apple scent. I’m sure I’ll fall in love with one of them, the pink one sounds great !

  2. These sound really nice, but I think Dreamsicle will be the one for me! Can’t wait to give them all a sniff when they come out next month. 🙂
