These DKNY apples just keep on coming! Every year, they’re back wtih a new twist and I think the DKNY Be Electric is my favourite yet with these acid bright lids and colourful glass.
Starting with the orange version, Be Electric Citrus Pulse – easily my favourite. Notes of sorbet style nectarine, passionfruit and mandarin are so present without being sickly. It’s a happy-to-your-bones fragrance that made me smile when I spritzed it.
The pink version is Be Electric Loving Glow with fruity blackcurrent, grape and pineapple. It didn’t give me the happy rush like Citrus Pulse because there’s a heavy vanilla backdrop that’s not right for me, but if you love vanilla and fruit together, it’s probably a win.

Finally, Be Electric Bright Crush – an easy wear in terms of freshness that warms to a musky skin scent although not as exciting as Citrus Pulse or as heavy as Loving Glow. Dew fruit is listed but I have no idea what that is. It’s definitely more fruit than flowers, but if I had to name that fruit, I couldn’t! Pretty, though.
The DKNY Be Electric collection launches in March (50ml £37) and I think it’s going to be a massive seller – the colours, the freshness, the fruit – it’s really all there.
