Diptique Eau de Lavande Roll On Cologne

I went off Diptyque for a really long time – no particular reason – just over exposure, I think. But, I’ve discovered the pleasure in re-acquainting with the brand via Diptique Eau de Lavande Roll On Cologne. Not only is the packaging absolutely delightful, but the painted glass turns it into something very special – especially for a summer gift (not excluding gift-to-self!).

Eau de Cologne can be a little old fashioned – and so can lavender, but this is a modern take on traditional soother and refresher. You still get all the cooling smack of cologne which dies down to a very pretty lavender scent. It doesn’t linger too long either, so it encourages use – I quite like that; what’s the point of having these things if you don’t liberally use them in high summer?
