Cruise collections do tend to sneak up and surprise you; originally made by established fashion houses for their wealthy clientelle to snap up in time for their winter holidays to warmer climes, cruise, or resort, has the wider meaning now of pre-season, it’s always odd to see holiday wear in the middle of winter. If you’re an early bird (i.e. if you have totally shopped out on autumn/winter and are aching to start on on spring) and if you really are heading off somewhere hot or actually even on a cruise, then you’ll have to have a ton to drop at Dior or Gucci because it’s the high price labels that produce these interim collections.

Dior Vernis Lime

This time, Dior Vernis introduce the Dior Couture Cruise collection with a splash of colour for nails to brighten the dark winter months – and unlike a pre-season couture bikini, it really doesn’t matter whether you’re off on a hot weather winter break or not. These three vivid shades are pretty well perfect for a break from burgundy and sparkles…think of it as a luxury holiday for your nails ;-).

Dior Vernis Mango

The collection launches exclusively into Harrods on 5th November (between 5th and 18th November if you snap up two Dior Colour products, you can have a complimentary Shape & Paint and if you remember the Dior Nail Machine, it’s back and ready to imprint a beautiful Dior design onto your newly shaped and painted talons).

Dior Vernis Pasteque

They’re £18 each.
