Diego Dalla Palma

So far so good with this brand-new-to-the-UK beauty range that can be found at select Tesco stores. It’s quite a high price point for a range you find in the supermarket, but with Tesco having a stab at upping the ante with their cosmetic offerings, it’s a good start I think. The most exciting thing they are bringing is the Semi-permanent Technical Mascara (a best seller) that is super long-lasting.. the fact that it is a best-seller and almost perpetually sold out tells me all I need to know. (You need Deigo Dalla Palma Biphase Make Up Remover to take it off.)

However, I’ve been testing the lipglosses – love the packaging – and they’re beautifully silky on the lip. They do need regular reapplication, but the colour I’m in love with is No45.. a milky raspberry shade that is very pretty. They need to pay a little attention to their translations: in my brochure The Gloss is described as ‘Incredibly shiny with volume and wet effect, for turgid and filled lips.’ Hmm, turgid, eh?
