Delilah Sunset Bronzer

Delilah Sunset Bronzer

I’m not a big believer in ‘show and  tell’ when it comes to being sent gifts from brands – not because I want to hide the fact that it happens but because I don’t want to seem like a show off, I suppose. I don’t like to blatantly see it happening when most people have to save for nearly ever for the bag that fell so seemingly easily into the lap of another. I do get sent quite a lot of ‘personalised’ products but there’s something about this from Delilah to promote their bronzer that I really like. It’s way different to have your name spelled out on a lovely bronzer than it is plastered all over a beach bag – I feel really self-conscious about it somehow and also I think there might be a time in my later life when I need reminding of my name and it isn’t yet!

Delilah Sunset Bronzer

This shade is medium dark and the thing that marks out Delilah bronzer from other powder bronzers is that you need the tiniest amount because it’s highly, highly pigmented so it will last you for a long old time. The powder is silky and diffuses well – it actually feels higher quality than the usual brick-dust-in-talc formula of many powder bronzers.

It’s one of the few powders that doesn’t instantly make my skin feel dry, thanks probably to the inclusion of jojoba oil. If you need a powder bronzer, then I’d genuinely highly recommend it. There’s a Light/Medium shade, too and it’s £34 HERE.

Aww, Jane. This is why I follow your content. I’m old enough not to be influenced by some of the bloggers and Youtubers who incessantly seem to gush over what their latest freebie is from various brands. Pretty fortunate too that if I really wanted most of that stuff, I can afford it. BUT – young people are so influenced by that sort of thing. Many aren’t even yet able to have a Saturday job and they watch these videos, inevitably thinking that it is the norm to have a £££ bag/clothes/cosmetics. They have no idea how much work it usually takes for “mere mortals” to be able to afford those items. The reality is that, once you can afford those things, you likely have other priorities or you know exactly how much effort it too you to earn that dish and you don’t just want to fritter it away.
    That bronzer is gorgeous.

I just think it’s not appropriate to show and tell unless there is good reason to do so. We are probably a similar age, and yes, I can afford to buy my own stuff if I really want it but I never want anyone to feel less if they can’t afford more – if you see what I mean x

I agree with Clare. We know that you don’t like to show everything, which means when you do, it means more because we know that you must really like it!
