Crabtree & Evelyn Body Mists

Crabtree & Evelyn Body Mists

As I’m sitting at my desk wondering how on earth I’m going to explain the complexities of Deciem’s new launch (coming up if I can ever get my head round it!) I feel even more appreciative of something like Crabtree & Evelyn Body Mists that require nil in the way of complication. They’re body mists – to mist your body.

I love a body mist – the gorgeous feeling of coolness (I keep mine in the fridge, and also face mists) followed by a waft of beautiful scent; it’s just all about the sensory pleasure. Two new ‘flavours’ are arriving any moment at Crabtree & Evelyn. Pomegranate is just a lovely wash of fruitiness – it’s not too sweet and does fall into the refreshing category, but I’d say there is something a little old fashioned about the scent. This could be because I’ve got so used to sugared fruit fragrances and the inclusion of argan and grapeseed but I didn’t actually even know they had a smell to them. I prefer the Citron scent that has a proper cologne vibe – very refreshing and cleansing on the nose. This one also has honey and coriander and I’m not normally a fan of herbal scents, but I can’t really detect it.

I think a misty refresher is the nicest of things on a boiling hot day – especially on hot legs and feet. Anyway, if you’re joining me in enjoying the simple things in beauty, these launch towards the end of the month.
