These little lovelies are an absolute find! They aren’t new but a recent re-introduction to Clinique Colour Surge Eye Shadow Stay Matte has put them on my list of firm favourites.

I like, sometimes, to have my eyelids really, really dark and wear lots of kohl on the inner rims – usually I use a Sue Devitt navy shadow that has a little bit of shimmer but actually, I think the look is better if it is totally flat. These have a good hit of colour (they aren’t all dark) but a softness to them as well. Dark Denim, Sable and Night Plum are gorgeous evening shadows, and Martini is a lovely daytime one for block colour lids (although you have to cover any under-eye dark circles otherwise it all starts to look a bit ghoulish).

I love the Night plum color so much!
Way to dark for me.
I have the Sable, and it’s a beautiful shade. I really like this line of Clinique eyeshadows.
I use night plum to line my eyes a lot of the time, love it!
