Collection is one of those budget ranges that sometimes brings out products you’d happily pay double for – the Collection Speedy Blush Sticks are exactly that. Based on the chubby stick concept, they’re exactly as described and give great pay-off. For £3.99 a pop I think they’re great value. Where you might find they fall short is on longevity, but these are so easy to chuck in your bag that occasional reapplications doesn’t seem a big ask.

As you can see, they give rather a soft, diffused look from the get-go and they’re buildable so you can vary the intensity of colour. My shade is Cheeky (the coral colour) but Tickled Pink and Pinch Me are also very wearable. Pinch Me, in particular, is good for deep toned skin.

Also new from Collection are the Gorgeous Glow shimmer bricks – I was so impressed with these in terms of sheen on the skin – I’ve taken a quick pic in sunlight so you can see how they rev up when the light hits them.

I think that’s pretty impressive! Blush Block (top) and Bronze Block (bottom) are also £3.99. Blush Block is great for a rose gold sheen to the cheeks – and Bronze Block is all kinds of good for highlighting a tan. Personally, I think both Gorgeous Glow Palettes are perfect for giving darker skintones that burnished, light-hit look on cheekbones, but if I was very pale toned, I’d be quite cautious about both these.. there’s a lot of light in them and unless you’ve got a bit of a tan to hang them on, I think they could look odd!

Anyway, both the Blush Sticks and the Gorgeous Glow have hit the stores .. I’ve just spotted them on Superdrug for £2.99 each (although they say starting price was £4.99 which I don’t think they ever were) HERE.
