I was first introduced to Cloud 9 Skin Solutions last year – it might be an unlikely placement on a beauty blog because it’s Nature’s Miracle Varicose Vein Treatment. I know. It’s not that sexy! But, as any pregnant mum will tell you, varicose veins can strike at any age, and ouch! They’re horribly uncomfortable and there are few varicose veins home remedies that have any impact at all. But, Cloud 9 Skin Solutions offer up a product that means you don’t have to head to a skin specialist (although you should go to your GP in the first instance) or even head off to a laser clinic to have them zapped. It’s refreshing that this brand has let the product do the talking – consumer reviews on Nature’s Miracle Varicose Vein Treatment are stellar – instead of injecting marketing hype.

The treatment was, in fact, Cloud 9 Skin Solutions’ first ever product and came into existence because a member of the family was in agony with varicose veins pain. A blend of Horse Chestnut, Grape Leaf and Arnica (crucially, at high enough levels to have impact) gives relief from that heavy, aching feeling as well as dampening down the burning sensation. The family member became a very willing guinea pig with various formulations at trial stage, and when it was just right, Nature’s Miracle Varicose Vein Treatment came into being. The active ingredients are Arnica Montana Flower Extract, Horse Chestnut Seed (Aesculus Hippocastanum), Grape Seed Oil/ Grape Leaf Extract and (Vitis Vinifera), and it’s £30 HERE.

In keeping with Cloud 9 Skin Solutions ethos of problem-solution products, next is Tranquility – in the least tranquil colour of all time, but I’ll keep going!

Tranquility
Tranquility

Sensitive skin is such a problem to treat – urban skin solutions often can’t touch sensitivities, which would include eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis. There’s a big question here, though. Why is Tranquility so pink? The answer doesn’t lie in someone being a bit happy with colourants – this is the natural shade of Vitamin B12 which is highly soothing to sensitive skin. In fact, all that Tranquility contains is avodaco oil and Vitamin B12, so there is literally nothing there to upset your already distressed skin. In terms of what Tranquility is likely to achieve for sensitive skin – think of it as instant comfort; hydration that calms and soothes and over a period of time, gives skin it’s bounce and vitality back. Tranquility isn’t a quick fix – you’ll need to give it a little time to see real results. Oh, and the pink disappears as soon as it’s on the skin!  Cloud 9 Skin Solutions Tranquility is £36 HERE.

To end, Cloud 9 Skin Solutions has acne solutions in its grasp with Clarity, a non salicylic acid based treatment to reduce blemishes and acne. If you’ve ever tried to come up with home remedies for acne or spots, you’ll know it’s a thankless task. Clarity uses Niacinamide (Vitamin B3), Panthenol (Pro Vitamin B5), Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Bisabolol (Chamomile Extract) and Allantoin and is perfect for anyone with blemishes that react badly to salicylic acid. Chamomile and Allatoin reduce swelling, Pro Vitamin D5 stops the irritation that can lead to you constantly touching the area, and therefore raising your infection chances, and Nicainimide is a well known acne fighter. You can, in effect, be your own skin specialist and beat acne and spots. You can find Clarity HERE at £32.

As you’d expect from a brand that offers a range of dermatology solutions, all Cloud 9 Skin Solutions formulas are free from nasties such as parabens and artificial colours or dyes. The brand uses clear and solid ingredient labelling so you can make an informed choice – there’s nothing hidden at all. Cloud 9 is well worth keeping on your radar as a skin problem solver. You might never need it at all, but ask anyone who has yet to find an effective varicose vein treatment or an acne home remedy that works and it’s just good to know it’s there if you need it.
