[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I’ve turned down a couple of beauty boxes this month because somehow they’re all starting to be a bit same-y but this one, from Cloud 10 is such good value that it would be a disservice not to flag it up. And it’s got products I haven’t seen in beauty boxes before (mostly). I always like to flag up if brands are pleasant to work with and Cloud 10 PR is great – friendly, timely and nothing is a problem.
As you can see, it’s something of a stellar line up and I’ll particularly flag the Institut Esthederm Osmoclean which is £34 on its own. I could get very excitable about this product because it’s so French. The instructions for use suggest, ‘Apply little by little to clean, dry skin. Massage until the cream thickens then rinse,’ so they’re encouraging us to spend as much time with the product as possible which is perfect for a pamper session.
So, let’s go through the contents. First up, The Ordinary Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Toner – I’d use this sparingly unless you are used to regular acid exfoliating so perhaps two or three times a week to start off with. It’s amazing the difference an acid can make because it never allows the dead cells to hang around so your skin has the green light to glow. Tan-Luxe Super Glow is one of the best facial self tans and no better time to use it than after an acid product when your skin is baby-smooth.
Ella & Jo 3-in-1 Hyaluronic Skin Mist is delight for an after-cleanse skin mist or just as a moisture boost at any time. Pixi Clarity Acid Peel is the only product I’m not familiar with but if you have a problem T Zone, a break out or run to oily, this seems to me to be the perfect end of the day cleanse with AHAs and BHAs combined with bamboo powder to get your complexion fully soft and gleaming.
Emma Hardie Brilliance Facial Oil is exactly as it sounds – brilliant. Such a gorgeous, lipid rich oil to use overnight that contains a host of essential oils including Palma rose, orange, mint, vanilla, geranium and camomile. Yes, it smells divine. Finally, Zelens Tea Shot (value is £105!!) with five different types of tea for a full anti-pollution complex. It’s light and cooling on the skin (if something of a weird colour thanks, I think, to matcha) and lovely to use. Cutting to the important bit, the box is £50.96 with a value of £273 HERE. It’s also worth checking out their Outlet section HERE with brands such as Stila, Aveda (an excellent boy/man stocking filler HERE) and Murad. Obviously, the box is limited edition and honestly, much as I don’t like to use the C word (no, not that one!), I often recommend buying boxes like this to get started on your Christmas list. Split it up – nobody is any the wise but everyone is happier :-).
