Clinique Spring: Pretty In Prints

I love this little palette from Clinique for next spring – it’s a completely wearable mix of browns and pinks for any skin tones and actually doesn’t seem specifically spring related – in fact, I’m wearing the gloss right now. It could easily carry on into summer and beyond. It comes with a little card that tells you how to apply the colours to best effect and where to put them. More and more I like products with instructions that let women who aren’t used to layering or shading apply with confidence and assurance that everything is going where it should. There is an assumption by many brands that everyone knows exactly what to do with everything, and I’d say if you’re splashing out on a pricy palette, knowing how, what and where is key. The colourful drawstring bag designed by Michelle Smith of Milly will keep it all pristine. The gloss is a warm, peachy-pink shade that is very flattering and named Millly Pink.

It launches 1st February.

Thats pretty. Looks siilar in colours to the strawberry fudge things. Am really loving the design of the Strawberry Fudge palette and that new one looks equally lovely!

Good point about the instructions, anything that adds value for the consumer in these competitive times has to be worth doing.

  3. love the design of the compact cover (finally something new lol)! but the shadows look similar to the existing ones

  4. I love the brown shades from the compact and probably the lip gloss if I could see a lip swatch. 🙂
