Oh, hang on! More newness from Clinique. I’m very welded to my Clarisonic and although I don’t use it daily any more it’s still very much a part of my beauty regime. So, Alex at IHeartBeauty.com HERE has all the skinny on this challenger to Clarisonic. It’s sounding like it may be a gentler version so if you ever found the Clarisonic a little aggressive, the Clinique Sonic System Purifying Brush might be the very thing.
Just when you think there is nowhere else to go in sonic cleansing, Clinique Sonic System Purifying Brush has firmer hairs or bristles for the t-zone area (the green ones) and gentler for the surrounding skin (the silver ones). Anyway, I’ll let Alex take you through it more thoroughly, but it’s competitively priced against Clarisonic at £80’85 and launching September.

I’ve always wanted one of these brush systems, there are so many on the market to choose from. This one sounds really good though, under being under £100 makes it more appealing!

The Clarisonic has different brush heads Delicate is the one I use and I have mild roseaca. So has Iheartbeauty actually tried that one if she found the normal too rough. I have had my Clarisonic since 2010 and its still going strong.
There is no mention if the Clinique is rechargeable or uses batteries? Most of the copy cat ones only use batteries.
The big one beside Clarisonic is the Luna, many like it as no brush heads to buy.
Do you think these sorts of deep cleansing products really improve skintone? I CTM every day with Liz Earle and now in my early 30’s still have uneven skintone and can’t seem to find anything to improve it’s clarity. I don’t get breakouts but my skin is getting very sensitive so I want to try something like this but I’m worried it will leave my skin raw 🙁 x
I can only speak from my own view – I would say yes, it definitely improves tone, but when you talk about tone, I wonder if you mean hyperpigmentation? In which case, it won’t do anything. When I talk about tone, I mean that it makes my skin look softer and more glowy – radiance, I suppose. Clarisonic etc will really clean your skin and exfoliate to a certain degree so skin cells are always renewed making skin look fresher. There isn’t really anything (I believe) that it can do to change the actual colour of darker or uneven patches on your skin xx
